Liquid Helium Transfer Lines
Liquid helium transfer lines are used to transfer liquid helium from a storage dewar to the magnet system dewar. These lines feature all-welded stainless steel construction with a vacuum-jacketed flexible piping center section connected to smaller diameter non-flexible vacuum-jacketed tubing at each end.

Critical handling guidance: insert the non-flexible tubes in a straight up and down motion to avoid stress on welds. A minimum two-person operation is required. Ensure the weight of the transfer line is not supported by the small outside diameter tubing.
